HOWLONG COMMON: [MORE]:
The Common is part of our British Heritage.
The Howlong Punt Permanent Common was dedicated on
18/12/1870 and provided a Christmas present for the people
of Howlong to pasture their cows close to the town centre.
The map further reveals the additional reserves distributed along the Murray river.
